TECHNICAL DATA SHEET (TDS) & PROCESS GUIDE Standard: AISI H11 / DIN 1.2343 / JIS SKD6
1. Chemical Composition (wt%)
| Element | C | Si | Mn | Cr | Mo | V | Fe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Specification | 0.33–0.43 | 0.80–1.20 | 0.20–0.50 | 4.75–5.50 | 1.10–1.60 | 0.30–0.60 | Balance |
2. Hardness & Operational Parameters
⚡ Laser Welding 0.2–0.6 mm
| Preheat Temp | Room Temp – 100°C |
| Pulse Current | 120–220 A |
| Shielding Gas | Argon ≥99.99% (3–6 L/min) |
| As-Welded Hardness | 46–50 HRC (Can reach 48–52 HRC after tempering) |
🔥 TIG Welding 0.8–2.4 mm
| Preheat Temp | 300°C – 400°C Mandatory |
| Welding Current | 40–120 A (DCEN) |
| Shielding Gas | Argon ≥99.99% (8–12 L/min) |
| Post-Heat Relief | Slow cooling in insulation box or 500°C stress relief |
💡 Key Repair & Operation Instructions:
- Hardness Range Flexibility: As-welded deposit yields 46–50 HRC. If higher working hardness (48–52 HRC) is required for specific hot forging applications, perform secondary tempering at 520°C–550°C.
- Preheating Requirement (TIG): Preheating to 300°C+ is critical for TIG welding to prevent thermal shock cracking along the fusion line.
