H11 Welding Wire

Material: H11 / 1.2343 / SKD6
Hardness: 46–50 HRC (As-welded)
🔥 Hot Work Tool Steel

Application & Industry Performance: Premium choice for heavy-duty hot forging dies, aluminum extrusion tooling, mandrels, and high-stress die-casting inserts. Compared to H13, H11 offers lower vanadium content, yielding exceptional impact toughness and thermal shock resistance against thermal fatigue checking under severe operational cycles.

💡 Key Repair & Operation Instructions:

  • Hardness Range Flexibility: As-welded deposit yields 46–50 HRC. If higher working hardness (48–52 HRC) is required for specific hot forging applications, perform secondary tempering at 520°C–550°C.
  • Preheating Requirement (TIG): Preheating to 300°C+ is critical for TIG welding to prevent thermal shock cracking along the fusion line.
