2. Hardness & Welding Parameters

⚡ Laser Welding 0.2–0.6 mm

Preheat TempRoom Temp – 100°C
Pulse Power120–220 A
Shielding GasArgon ≥99.99% (3–6 L/min)
HAZ ImpactUltra-narrow HAZ, preserving supreme weld ductility

🔥 TIG Welding 0.8–2.4 mm

Preheat Temp320°C – 400°C Mandatory
Welding Current40–120 A (DCEN)
Shielding GasArgon ≥99.99% (8–12 L/min)
Post-Heat ReliefSlow cooling followed by immediate tempering at 500°C

💡 Key Repair & Operation Instructions:

  • Unrivaled Resistance to Heat Checking: Low silicon (~0.2% Si) and optimized Cr-Mo-V chemistry provides far superior ductility and hot yield strength compared to standard H13.
  • Preheating Control (TIG): Strict preheating at 320°C–400°C before TIG welding is mandatory to eliminate cold cracking along fusion boundaries.
