Shielding Gas Argon ≥99.99% (3–6 L/min)
HAZ Impact Minimal HAZ, preventing micro-crack propagation

🔥 TIG Welding 0.8–2.4 mm

Preheat Temp 320°C – 400°C Mandatory
Welding Current 40–120 A (DCEN)
Shielding Gas Argon ≥99.99% (8–12 L/min)
Post-Heat Relief Slow cooling followed by stress relief at 500°C

💡 Key Repair & Operation Instructions:

  • High Molybdenum Advantage: W302 / 1.2367 contains ~3.0% Mo, offering significantly higher hot hardness than H13 and superior fatigue crack resistance during die-casting.
  • Preheating Requirement (TIG): Strict preheating to 320°C–400°C before TIG deposit is mandatory to eliminate cold cracking risks along fusion margins.
